Random String is Ludic Rooms’ biennial festival of arts, technology and play. Each year we take over Coventry venues and spaces with an influx of inspirational and interactive experiences.
Each year, the festival is accompanied by a wide-ranging development programme for arts and technology in the region. Building skills and capacity with artists and arts organisations, driving audience development and leading local conversation and sharing.
Random String is produced by Ludic Rooms, a non-profit arts and technology organisation founded in 2009. We have been based in Coventry Canal Warehouse since our inception.
We create postdigital artworks, experiences and events that empower communities, offering creative opportunities to engage with technologies through experimentation and play.
